Description
The activities of this company house began in 1895, when Giovanni Albrighi and Dante Alighieri, together with other partners, founded the Albrighi, Segati & C., a bookshop specialised in school publications.
In 1902, the company acquired the publisher Società Editrice Dante Alighieri, based in Rome, and later a bookshop in Neaples, owned by the same publisher.
In 1929, the company merged with the Società Anonima Editrice Francesco Perrella in Neaples, changing its name to Società Editrice Dante Alighieri, già Albrighi, Segati e C. e Società Anonima Editrice Francesco Perrella.
The company is still active and its catalogue comprises school textbooks in a variety of subjects, dictionaries, and essays in different areas (art, history, philosophy, law).
