Description
Casa Editrice Bulgarini was founded by Domenico Bulgarini (writer and playwright) in Florence in 1948. The publishing house was acquired by the Gruppo Editoriale ELi (based in Loreto, Ancona) in 2019.
Over the decades, the activities of Casa Editrice Bulgarini have concentrated on two areas. The first one regards the publication of text books for primary and for lower and upper secondary school, with a focus on subjects such as history, geography, Latin, Italian, citizenship education, visual arts education, and music education. The second area deals with the distribution in Italy of textbooks by international publishers, as well as by other Italian publishers; it also distributes the text books of the German publishing house Hueber, for the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language.
