The first part of the course book consists of ten lessons where the relevant grammar points and vocabulary items are presented in a series of comic strips created by the famous Italian cartoonists Giancarlo Buonfino and Roberto Zamarin. The remaining twenty lessons included in the second and third part of the book are instead dedicated to presenting Britain and London; this is done by integrating a number of dialogues and reading passages.
The book is supplemented by one vinyl record for the students to be used for phonetic practice.
The volume in the Italy ELT Archive is the fifth reprint of the second edition of book, published in 1981. The first edition was published in 1973.
