Giuseppe Motta was the author of several books published by Lattes, including, among others
- Fiction and life (1937), an anthology divided into two parts, the first collecting poems and reading passages from works of fiction, the second collecting specialised texts in the domains of business, economics, commerce in Anglo-Saxon countries, designed for learners in upper secondary schools and vocational schools.
- In the realm of fancy (1948), an anthology with reading passages of increasing difficulty, taken from works fiction, for learners in lower secondary schools.
He also authored specialised bilingual dictionaries with terminology from the areas of economics, law, and finance, and he translated into Italian works by Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, and Freeman Wills Croft.
