Short biography

Jeremy Harmer holds a BA in English Literature from the University Of East Anglia, UK and a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading (UK).
Harmer has written a variety of ELT materials, including books about methodology, course books, and graded readers.
He has worked as an ELT teacher and given presentations and seminars in the UK and around the world.
As an ELT teacher and trainer, he has worked for International House, London, Eurocentre Bournemouth, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, the Bell School, Cambridge, and at the Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura (IAMC) in Mexico DF, Ciudad Satellite and Guadalajara. While at the IAMC, he was branch director for four years.
He has also worked as an online tutor for the MATESOL at The New School, New York.
